Lleó living area

The two apartments are located near to each other in the heart of Barcelona's old town, in the barrio of El Raval.

Surrounding the apartments is a lively and stimulating area, typical of 'Barcelona de los barrios'. There are traditional local shops and cafes alongside the newer designer bars and galleries that are appearing.
   The new modern art museums (MACBA and CCCB) are just two minutes away, while the port and the sea are a pleasant 20 minute walk. The best Barcelona beaches for swimming are a half-hour walk or short bus ride.
   This area of town is central (10 minutes walk to Las Ramblas and Plaça Catalunya) and very well connected by transport. Metros Universitat, St Antoni and Catalunya are close by and there are buses and trains to all parts of Barcelona and the rest of Catalunya.
   Traffic is restricted in the area so there is very little traffic noise.

Ferlandina living room

The recently created new open space in the area, el Rambla del Raval with its outdoor cafes and open air market is just a few minutes walk away.

Both apartments are fully equipped, including microwave oven, iron and hairdryer, television (not satellite), radio / CD / cassette player and DVD player. Sheets and towels are provided as are basic cooking supplies.
